N Family Club Wellness Week October 2020

In September last year, I had the pleasure to have been referred to Antonia, People and culture assistant at N Family Club. Antonia was in charge of organising Wellness Week, a whole week of online classes delivered by various well-being teachers and offered exclusively to their hard-working staff.
Anyone who has ever looked after or worked with young children would know how much one needs to relax and replenish after a busy day of teaching, stimulating, nurturing, activity planning and cleaning!

Antonia and I swiftly opted for a gentle form of yoga, namely restorative yoga.
This practice is becoming increasingly popular among people looking for a way to unload, unwind and meditate. The slow pace of restorative yoga with its longer held poses supported by props is a great way to find stillness, go deeper within and reconnect with oneself. And breathe.

It was a great pleasure to be given the opportunity to teach these lovely women, some of them mothers themselves and mother-to-be. Thank you for having me!
