For the second time, I had the pleasure to be invited to do a talk on how yoga could be of help to tinnitus sufferers. Tinnitus is the term used to refer to sounds heard from inside the body rather than an outside source. There is currently no one-for-all treatment hence the importance of alternative ways to help manage the condition.
Mindfulness, yoga, breathing practices all work toward the same goal: empowering tinnitus sufferers by equipping them with tools to help reduce stress and anxiety levels caused by the condition and through yoga in particular, having the chance to reconnect with what the body is capable of and amazing at, rather than focussing on its downfalls.
