Yoga Teacher: A dream job?
I will put my foot right in it and maybe shatter a dream or two in the process, but contrary to what some people might imagine, teaching yoga is not such an easy job.
On Being a Yoga Newbie
When I first took up yoga ten years ago, most people attending classes did so to become more supple and also to de-stress - which is still the case today of course - but what they (myself included) might not have expected so much at the time is a challenging practice that included holding standing poses for longer as well as inversions and arm balances.

Why I finally decided to start blogging
My name is Florence, I am a Vinyasa Flow yoga teacher, and yes, I can be a little slow at keeping up with the “modern world”!
First I resisted having a mobile phone the first couple of years I moved to London back in 2002 and then had to admit that, well, I simply needed one to get on with work. Being a freelance translator at the time, it was not great to have my flatmates picking up my messages…! Did I miss out on work? Most def!
